The free sprint · November 4 to December 18

Six weeks. Roles prepared for you every morning. You send. We track every reply.

Each morning you get fresh roles that fit you, the person to message at each one, and the note already written. You send it from your own accounts and log it. Every send and every reply is counted, so you can see what's working.

  • Send Day, every weekAn hour where everyone sends together. Join live, or do it on your own time.
  • Two clinics a weekA weekday evening and Saturday noon, Eastern. Bring what's stuck.
  • Your numbers every MondaySends, replies, screens and interviews, so you can see what's moving.
  • A reply from your coach within one business dayAsk anything, any time.

What you give

It's free because you do the work and we count it.

  • About 10 to 15 hours a weekEvenings and weekends are fine.
  • 5 sends a week, 3 at the leastOnce your resume is ready. One tap in the app logs each, the day you send it.
  • Send Day, live or on your own timeOnce a week.
  • One conversation with a design partnerFrom week 2: 30 minutes with someone who could use a small tool you build, then their problem in one paragraph. The work is yours.
  • An honest review at the endGood or bad.

The 7-day rule. A seat that's quiet for 7 days (no visit, no send logged, no task ticked) goes to the next person on the waitlist. You'll always get two emails first, and your map stays yours, free.

How you get in

Three short steps, no call.

1 · Two minutes

The free check.

Six quick questions about your search, and your resume if you like. You get your map either way.

2 · Three minutes

One short sprint step.

Confirm the title you're after, pick a clinic time, and agree to the sprint in plain words. We only ask what we don't already know.

3 · Right away

An instant answer.

If you're in, your seat is set up on the spot and your first roles arrive the next morning. If the seats are full, you're on the waitlist with your place.

The sprint's numbers are published at weeks 3 and 6: sends, reply rate, screens and interviews, as counts across everyone, never names. See them here.

Straight answers

Why is it free?

Because we publish the numbers. At weeks 3 and 6 we share the sprint's sends, reply rate, screens and interviews, as counts across everyone. That's how the next people decide whether this works. Your name, your messages and the companies you contacted are never published.

Who is it for?

Final-year students and graduates up to about two years out of a degree or a bootcamp, who can build something and can work in the US without sponsorship. You need to have built at least one thing someone can open, like a project, a repo or a demo.

What if I already have a job?

That's fine. Most of the work fits in evenings and on weekends, Send Day can be done on your own time, and the clinics have an async option.

Is anything automated on LinkedIn?

Never. We prepare the roles, the person and the note. You read it, change it, and send it yourself from your own accounts. Nothing is ever sent for you.

What happens after six weeks?

You can join the paid founding cohort, keep going on GridSchool Complete at $97 a month, or stay on your free map. Your map and your progress stay yours whatever you choose.

What if I go quiet?

Life happens. If your seat is quiet for 7 days it goes to the next person on the waitlist, after two emails. Your map stays yours, free, and you can rejoin the waitlist when you're ready.

Is a job guaranteed?

No, and be wary of anyone who says it is. A company's yes is theirs. What we promise is the work: your roles each morning, the notes, Send Day, the clinics, and a reply from your coach within a business day.

Six weeks of sending, with the work done for you.

Two minutes for the check, three for the sprint step, and you'll know at once.
